WonderFrost is intended for players aged 13 and over. Players who indicate that they are under 13 cannot continue into the game, and no advertising, analytics, consent, or other network SDK is started for them.
1. Scope and controller
This Privacy Policy applies to WonderFrost, a mobile game developed and published by KopPlay Games. KopPlay Games is the controller for the choices and data flows described in this notice. Third-party services listed below may act as independent controllers or processors under their own terms and policies.
Questions, rights requests, or concerns can be sent to kopplaygame@gmail.com.
2. Local-only game data
WonderFrost does not require an account. In version 0.0.1, game progress, settings, virtual currency, owned items, purchase fulfilment records, age category, consent choices, and related recovery journals are stored locally on the device. KopPlay Games does not operate a gameplay backend or cloud-save service for this version.
Local data normally remains until it is reset through an available in-game control, the app data is cleared, or the app is uninstalled. Device or platform backup features may retain or restore local data according to the platform provider's settings and policies.
3. Age check and audience state
On first use, WonderFrost asks for age information in a neutral age-check flow. The raw date entered is used only to calculate an age category and the next age transition, then is immediately discarded. The game stores only a local audience state: unknown, under 13, teen, or adult, together with the next required transition where applicable.
- Under 13: access to the game is blocked before any advertising, analytics, UMP, LevelPlay, or other network SDK starts.
- Ages 13 to 17: the game is available and advertising is limited to generic, non-personalized treatment.
- Ages 18 and over: Google UMP presents the privacy choices required for the player's region, including available ad personalization choices.
WonderFrost is not directed to children under 13 and does not use a parental-consent shortcut to admit an under-13 player.
4. Advertising notice and consent
Advertising helps fund WonderFrost. For eligible players aged 13 or over, there is no local setting that completely disables ads. Acknowledging this notice does not itself authorize personalized advertising. Google User Messaging Platform (UMP) remains the authority for the privacy choices available in the player's region.
WonderFrost asks UMP to update consent information before it may initialize LevelPlay. If UMP does not authorize ad requests, LevelPlay is not initialized. The game remains playable if the device is offline, no ad is available, or an ad request cannot be made.
Rewarded ads are voluntary. Interstitial ads are limited to safe return points after eligible victories and are subject to frequency caps. WonderFrost does not use banner or app-open ads.
5. Advertising data
When advertising is permitted, Unity LevelPlay, Unity Ads, Google bidding, Google Mobile Ads, and Google UMP may process data needed to request, deliver, limit, secure, and measure ads. This may include:
- Device and app information, operating system, language, app version, and approximate location derived from network data;
- Advertising or device identifiers where available and legally permitted;
- Ad requests, impressions, clicks, rewarded-ad completion, frequency, and other ad interactions;
- IP address, network information, diagnostics, performance, and fraud-prevention signals.
Teen players are tagged for under-age-of-consent treatment and receive non-personalized advertising signals only. Adult players can revisit applicable UMP privacy options from the game when the privacy-options entry point is required.
6. Optional Unity Analytics
Unity Analytics starts only after a valid age state and explicit, optional analytics consent. Refusing or withdrawing analytics consent does not block the game or disable the advertising model described above.
If enabled, analytics may process technical device information, app version, session and gameplay events, feature interactions, country or approximate location, and service-generated user or installation identifiers. KopPlay Games does not send the raw date of birth, purchase receipts, PlayerPrefs keys, or external account identifiers through the project-owned analytics events.
Raw Unity Analytics event data is generally retained by Unity for up to 13 months. Aggregated metrics or user profiles may remain until deletion is requested or configured through the service.
7. In-app purchases
WonderFrost may offer consumable in-app purchases through Unity IAP and the applicable store, such as Google Play. The store handles payment credentials; KopPlay Games does not receive full payment-card details.
Unity IAP, the store, and related services may process product and purchase history, transaction or order identifiers, device and installation identifiers, country or approximate location, diagnostics, and performance information to display localized products, process purchases, prevent fraud, restore eligible transactions, and provide support. WonderFrost retains local fulfilment and transaction hashes to avoid granting the same consumable purchase twice.
Store products and real-money purchasing are available only when the production store configuration has been enabled and the player has passed the 13-or-over age gate.
8. Services used
Depending on enabled features, WonderFrost uses:
- Unity Analytics;
- Unity LevelPlay and Unity Ads;
- Google Mobile Ads, Google bidding, and Google UMP;
- Unity IAP and the applicable mobile store.
WonderFrost version 0.0.1 does not use Firebase as a product or backend, a mobile measurement partner (MMP), push notifications, Unity Diagnostics collection, a KopPlay Games account system, or a KopPlay Games cloud-save backend.
More information is available in the Unity Privacy Policy and the Google Privacy Policy .
9. Why information is used
Information is processed, where applicable, to:
- Operate, secure, and maintain the game;
- Save progress and fulfil purchases on the device;
- Apply age-appropriate advertising protections;
- Request, deliver, measure, and limit ads;
- Provide optional analytics after consent;
- Diagnose technical problems and prevent fraud or abuse;
- Meet legal, store, accounting, and regulatory obligations.
The legal basis depends on the data, feature, and jurisdiction. It may include consent, performance of a requested transaction, compliance with legal obligations, or legitimate interests in operating, securing, and funding the game, subject to applicable rights and safeguards.
10. Sharing and sale
KopPlay Games does not directly sell personal information for money. Information may be disclosed to the advertising, analytics, commerce, platform, and technical providers listed in this policy only for their applicable services, security, fraud prevention, legal compliance, or support.
Certain advertising disclosures may be treated as a sale, sharing, or targeted advertising under some laws. Where required, UMP or platform controls provide the applicable choices. KopPlay Games may also disclose information if legally required or to protect users, the service, or legal rights.
11. Retention and deletion
Local game data is retained on the device as described in section 2. Unity Analytics retention is described in section 6. Unity IAP service logs may be retained by Unity for up to 90 days, while store purchase records and advertising data follow each provider's legal, fraud-prevention, and published retention rules.
To request access, correction, deletion, restriction, objection, portability, or information about applicable privacy choices, contact kopplaygame@gmail.com. Because WonderFrost has no KopPlay Games account or backend in version 0.0.1, we may need limited installation or service information to route a request to the relevant provider, and we may be unable to link remote provider data to a person without that information.
12. International transfers
Third-party providers may process information in countries other than the country where the player lives. Where required, those providers and KopPlay Games rely on appropriate transfer mechanisms and safeguards under applicable data-protection law.
13. Security
KopPlay Games uses reasonable technical and organizational measures to protect data under its control. Network services use encrypted transport where supported. No storage or transmission method can be guaranteed completely secure, and local save data is not designed as a server-authoritative anti-cheat system.
14. Regional and platform choices
Players may have additional rights under laws such as the GDPR, UK GDPR, or applicable US state privacy laws. Adults can use the privacy-options entry point when UMP requires it. Analytics consent can be changed independently in the game. Device settings may also provide controls for advertising identifiers and store data.
A player may complain to the competent data-protection authority in their country or region. In France, this is the Commission Nationale de l'Informatique et des Libertés (CNIL).
15. Changes to this policy
This policy may be updated when WonderFrost, its providers, or legal requirements change. The effective date at the top will be revised when a new version is published. Material changes may also be presented in the game where appropriate.
